- 1/5 from Michelle Luciano, attended Sep 2026: Unfortunately I had a poor experience with this course and left early, disappointed. I attended a day session 12-2pm and booked for myself and my daughter and paid $100 per person. There were no structure or outcomes to the course. For a 6 year old, having no outcomes for 2 hours is not age appropriate. For the expense, this was disappointing and not worth the money. The set up was, in my opinion, unprofessional. The course ran in the same room as another class. We sat next to them on the same table and it was highly distracting for my child who was focussed on what the other kids were doing. I do not think the course was age appropriate. Although the instructor was lovely, the first thing I was told was my child was a bit young for the course and she was unsure if she would be able to do the crochet steps although the course stated it was for children 6 years plus. The website should have, in my opinion, also specified that the course was a one on one course. When I addressed concerns with management I was told some people would be glad to have one on one attention. I told her that for a 6 year old, one on one lessons isn’t appropriate for 2 hours, hence why we left early. I was also by management that some kids aren’t coordinated enough to learn crochet skills, implying that my disappointment in the course was due to my child’s inability to grasp crochet. Overall a poor experience and unprofessional handling of the situation.
