Photography Tutoring with MJ Bentley
Whether you’re just picking up a camera or looking to refine your visual voice, MJ Bentley offers personalised photography tutoring sessions tailored to your goals, experience level, and creative interests.
With a background in film, photography, and visual storytelling, MJ works across digital photography, portraiture, documentary-style shooting, and creative projects. MJ has specialised in fashion, portraiture, events, and art—winning awards, exhibiting, and being published in publications such as Rolling Stone, AU. Sessions can cover everything from camera fundamentals and technical confidence to composition, lighting, editing workflows, and developing a strong visual narrative.
These one-on-one sessions are practical, supportive, and collaborative—designed to help you understand *why* things work, not just how to follow settings. You can bring your own projects, images, or questions, or ask for structured guidance if you’re not sure where to start.
Perfect for:
  • Beginners wanting to feel confident with their camera
  • Students or creatives building a portfolio
  • Anyone wanting feedback, direction, or creative momentum
Sessions are relaxed, encouraging, and focused on helping you see—and shoot—with intention.
