Icy has a lovely style and is a gentle teacher. I did find the class to be quite slow-paced especially at the start, and at times too easy for me personally. I think it could’ve been faster paced and more content covered being the nature of “simple florals”. Overall a nice class.

I have found that after the class I have referred to the drawings from the class, but I also have found similar designs on websites such as Pintrest that produce a similar result in my bullet journal. Overall I was personally a little disappointed however others who have never done this type of illustration may find it really good.

Growing up, I have always been into arts and crafts. But when I got married in 2017, I enjoyed DIY-ing our wedding signages, envelope addressing, place cards and decorations, it awakened a dormant creative passion inside of my soul. The same year, I started bullet journaling which also gave me the opportunity to explore other aspects of creativity like botanical illustrations. Combining bullet journaling, calligraphy and floral illustrations have helped me grow as a creative and I am fortunate enough to share my passions through reaching workshops and doing commission work.
