Our instructor was wonderful - she was patient, very helpful and accommodating with our 'creative' requests! I would definitely recommend this as a fun, get-together activity.

Hunmi was a wonderful teacher — so relaxed, encouraging, and she really gave us the time and confidence to explore and be inspired by the clay. It was such a creative, hands-on experience and we laughed the whole way through. I can’t wait to book another workshop at Clay Cartel — highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and super fun outing! Lara Scolari

You could not get a better teacher then Hunmi, with her knowledge her patience and step by step instructions you could never go wrong. Meeting new people in the class as well is fun… I had meet today great people, hope to see them again in one of Hunmi’s classes

Hunmi is such a beautiful, patient person her teaching skills is so inspiring and she makes you feel comfortable at what you’re doing and makes feel confident of what you made. She makes me feel like I’ve found a new best friend. Hunmi has torte me how to make pinch pots, coil pots, slab pots. This beautiful place is more then a five star ️

The teacher was wonderful and knowledgeable, the space is gorgeous and easy to access, and the hand-building class was fun, creative, and easy for a first timer. The teacher was helpful and relaxed, it was amazing how much we covered in 2hours, plus we learnt at an enjoyable relaxed pace. We had great demonstrations to help understand what we were meant to be doing, with loads of materials to be creative with, in a friendly comfortable setting. I would definitely recommend and look forward to going back again. I especially liked we could decide on what we wanted to make from a coil building workshop, like a cup, bowl, plate or vessel. The lesson wasn't totally prescribed and had room for your own creative expression. I really enjoyed adding texture to the clay too.

Well suited to beginners - one was a very shy young kid who was included and catered for as much as the rest of us. Mostly it was fun and a good way to spend a Saturday morning doing soemthing creative and enjoyable.
