Our teacher gave us space to do our own thing but came in to help whenever we needed. The vibes was so good and we would love to go back for a bigger piece! If you have been thinking about trying tufting definitely recommend this place!

5/5 from Theo Chapman, attended Oct 2025: I booked last minute for a Wednesday and was the only student. I’d sent my artwork in the day before and it was drawn on the canvas when I arrived. After a quick lesson in how to use the tufting gun I was on my own to get on with it. Help was always at hand if needed but the key is just to do it. By the time I’d completed my 40x40cm effort I was more confident and capable with the tufting gun. I was lucky there were no classes following mine, so I had an extra hour to complete my piece. My advice is do something simple with large areas of colour. There is a cafe just down the road which serves decent coffee.

He was always available to help us when needed, otherwise we were just in our zone to get our creative juices flowing. There is a huge selection of colours, so we could really make our work pop. Tufting is very forgiving and easy to pick up, and our results turned out even better than we expected! Highly recommend and would totally do this again

It was very interesting, engaging, and challenging for them, but he provided all the direction required to make beautiful rugs! The studio is extremely well kitted with all the colour choices you could need, plus snacks and water for the class duration. The girls were beginners but enjoyed it so much, they are keen to return soon!

If those were improved, I’d say this place is a good place to do tufting. Hubby and I enjoyed though and maybe there’s a future tufting class for us soon!

We had so much fun, and were lucky that the class ended up just being our group of friends so the tunes were pumping. Nelson was great at explaining everything and didn’t complain once about us constantly asking him for help! He had the best playlist on as well (we took note) and was so chill to be around - definitely made the experience better to have someone who was easy to talk and laugh with teaching and guiding us. The studio is a short walk from Central station and easy to find.
