Hi Friends! My name is Amy and I’m the business owner behind yubiicraft!
I taught myself how to crochet during school, but was strongly encouraged to book study instead. During Covid, with being a busy mum of two and working a 9-5 job, I rediscovered my creative outlet with colouring, cross stitch and crochet. Amigurumi came into the picture and I was hooked. Crocheting plushies allowed me to nurture both creativity and mindfulness whilst balancing a busy lifestyle.
I’ve always been passionate about knowledge sharing, where at work, I train and support new starters with patience and care.
In my workshops I hope to bring that same energy — creating a supportive space where anyone can learn crochet amigurumi at their own pace. You’ll not only learn techniques and tips, but also enjoy the slower pace and sense of achievement that comes with crafting something with yarn, hook and your own hands.
Whether you’re looking to try something new, nurture your creativity, or simply take a mindful pause in your week, I’d love to share this journey with you. Come join me, and let’s make something beautiful together that will bring you joy.
