Join our beginners jewellery workshop, the perfect introduction to the jewellery studio and metalworking.This class gives you the opportunity to learn the basic metal working skills needed for making simple jewellery pieces for yourself or your special someone. In this three hour workshop, we will cover:
- Health and safety in the jewellery studio
- Metal cutting
- Ring sizing
- Ring forming
- Texturing
- Soldering – using torches you learn how to anneal and solder to join the metal together
- Polishing and finishing – how to file, use emery paper and get the perfect shine
- Basic silver jewellery skills – setting you up for a great start!
