What you'll do

This landscape contemporary collage workshop is part of a new series, which explores different themes of Contemporary Collage. This workshop will teach you how to create a striking landscape collage. It's perfect for those who have done one of our workshops in the past and want to expand on their current collage skills.
During the workshop, you'll learn about building a landscape using perspective, colour, balance, texture, and form and learn about glueing and image placement. All materials are provided with over 200 books on Nature, Architecture, Photography, Sport and Science sourced by the SCS.
The landscape collage will be created on a larger size paper (A3) giving the student plenty of room to create their composition. The 2.5 hour class allows ample time for sorting images, creating compelling layouts, perfecting image positioning, and finally assembling your collage.The collage class will be run by SCS founder and artist Kubi Vasak. Bring a friend or make a new one on the day. Established in 2015, our mission is to shake up the world of contemporary collage by running creative workshops, and platform Sydney’s creative community by exhibiting locally and internationally.
