Adventure Calls! Join us as we immerse our creativity onto miniature surfboards, step onto the golden sandy shores with Kent Urban Markers in hand, and feel the tranquil, sun-drenched coastlines of the tropics. Capture the warmth and gentle sea air of crystal-clear waves rolling in, palm trees gently swaying in the wind, and the breath of excitement from found treasure maps washed up from the ocean, preserved in glass bottles. Kent Urban Markers are an emerging success, known for their product launch, bold packaging, and diverse projects including guitar painting, gaming signs, cinema artwork advertisement, and more.
Participants will be taken through the step-by-step process of how to use the markers in creating the coastal art piece. This will include preparing the markers for use, tips on nib usage and clean-up, techniques with straight lines and template shapes, and blending and colour mixing methods. The class will be based on the usage of the Kent Urban Markers, which will be available in 3mm and 6mm nib sizes and are acrylic-based paint. The surfboards are 3mm MDF board, which are prepared prior to the class.
This workshop offers a relaxed environment to connect with other artists and enthusiasts and gives you a place to develop and improve your marker skills. Regardless of your experience with Kent Markers, we invite you to join us and express your creativity. Let's see where it goes!
Don’t forget to join our Creative Rewards loyalty program to receive an exclusive 10% discount in-store on the day, just one of the many perks of being part of the Eckersley’s creative community.
