This workshop is beginner-friendly and takes approximately five hours. You will need patience :) but in the end, you'll go home with a beautiful handmade lamp. Two people can work on the same lamp together with just one booking---this will take less time.
We use eco-friendly, lead-free and rosin-free solder for a safe, sustainable crafting experience.
What You’ll Do:
  • Design and pick your favourite glass colours and patterns. Choose from over 20 colours of Tiffany-style glass for your lamp.
  • Learn to safely cut glass with expert guidance.
  • Smooth your glass pieces for a polished, safe finish.
  • Use eco-friendly solder to assemble your lamp structure. (Note: Soldering involves high heat, so steady hands are a must!)
  • Install the base of the melted wax lamp, attach the bulb and light it up.

  • 3/5 from Alexander Mosca, attended Jul 2026: Quite fun but difficult. Recommend 2 people working on the one lamp. It came out lovely but wish there were more colour options for the glass. We needed to wear gloves and protective glasses during the class, however they were not in good condition and need to be cleaned/replaced. The gloves had a terrible smell and we couldnt see well through the glasses because it was so scratched.
  • 5/5 from Heba Alameddine, attended Jun 2026: So fun and interactive, easy to follow instructions and you go home with most beautiful stained glass lamp and new skills!
  • 5/5 from Emma Qi, attended Jun 2026: The workshop was heaps of fun with the whole process explained in detail and guided through from glass cutting to sanding to soldering. My only wish is that there had been more glass selections, but otherwise, it's a perfect activity to do with a friend or partner.
  • 5/5 from Taya Michel, attended Jun 2026: My friend and I had a great time at the workshop! It was laidback and fun while still requiring attention to detail and creativity to use our minds. The teachers were patient, encouraging and let us take a break for food. They were easy to ask questions to and let us look at additional glass colours to get the best outcome :)
  • 5/5 from Jinsiu Du, attended May 2026: Awesome class to learn every step of the process from cutting, fiing and soldering. You get to produce something tangible, pretty and usable. The instructors were nice, patient and clear. A great class to do on your own or with friends.
  • 4/5 from Rubi Rahman, attended Apr 2026: So much fun! Loved the engaging instructing and how easy it was to follow through. Wish they had more colours to choose from though!
  • 2/5 from Wendy Ly, attended Apr 2026: I wouldve liked it if the teacher was more present - she spoke to her friends most of the time. I also wouldve preferred if she was more welcoming - introducing herself, conversing throughout the class etc. The quality of the glass grinder wasnt great. The selection of the glass colours were very limiting.
  • 5/5 from Dannalea Sloan, attended Mar 2026: I went with a friend to this class and we had so much fun. Our teacher, Ting, was so very patient and understanding that this was a new experience for us. She guided us throughout the process clearly and carefully. We both learnt new skills and left the class with a lovely little Tiffany lamp of which we were both very proud. I highly recommend TuTu studio and intend to return to make the stained glass mirror frame.

  • 5/5 from Co Skyllas-Vosota, attended Sep 2025: Great experience! My partner and I had an amazing time. It was so much fun picking out the colours and watching it all come together in the end. It's a long process but was definitely worth it. Ting was a great teacher and super helpful throughout the class. The atmosphere and team were all lovely and we're keen to go back to try out the tufting next!

  • 5/5 from Zali Hall, attended Aug 2025: I had a wonderful time attending this class! My teacher was wonderful, and allowed me a lot of independence with cutting and grinding the glass. I think this class is great if you enjoy working independently with support as needed. I also found the glass selection process to be great, with lots of different variety in glass sheet choices. I was happy to walk away with a finished lamp. Keep in mind this is a hard class, but very rewarding!
  • 5/5 from Maeve Considine, attended Jul 2025: The Class was amazing! I was worried about it how lamp making could take so long! (5 hours) but the time flew by and I felt I was only there for an hour or so. Me and my sister had a blast! The teachers at the studio were so helpful and freindly and he glass cutting/metal melting was super cool! I Would go back and do another one for sure!!!
  • 5/5 from Mostaque Ahmed, attended Jun 2025: I recently attended the Stained Glass Tiffany Lamp Making Workshop hosted by Tutu Studio via ClassBento, and it was a truly rewarding experience from start to finish. From learning the basics of glass cutting to crafting an exquisite Tiffany-style lamp, the workshop was thoughtfully structured and hands-on throughout. Teachers Ting and Ella were absolutely fantastic – their professionalism, patience and in-depth knowledge made the process both enjoyable and achievable. They provided clear guidance, individual support, and a warm, encouraging atmosphere that made me feel confident and creative. The workshop space was well-equipped, and the pace allowed for a genuine appreciation of the craft. I left with not only a beautiful, handcrafted lamp but also a respect for stained glass artistry. Highly recommend this workshop to anyone wanting to explore a creative skill in a supportive and inspiring environment!
