- 4/5 from Timea McGuire, attended Jul 2026: The class was great. I would suggest that the teacher show us each product she is using so we can purchase it after class. She also needs to explain why she is using products like masking fluid. It was evident in the class that some students didn't know why it was being used and what it does. Also a bit of tuition on brushes letting students know how to load there brush with water and how much water when applying to the paper. She explained the consistency of the paint but nothing about how much to load the brush up with paint. She showed us watercolour blending but not much about the technique with the brush to achieve this. She needs to assume that most people know nothing about painting or ask how much painting people have done to be able to cater for the class. As a teacher myself in mix media I often see teachers that are amazing artists but miss steps when trying to teach students.
- 5/5 from Colleen Nicholas, attended May 2026: Teacher was excellent and the class was fun. It was great for beginners. Teacher explained and demonstrated the steps very well.
- 5/5 from Nancy Liao, attended May 2026: The teacher was very organised, took us step by step, even though everyone was at a different level in their art skill. Love the workshop and had a reasonable painting to take home to show off!!
- 4/5 from Joyce Hirshbein, attended May 2026: Shibi was as usual very helpful and gracious. Have done a watercolour class with her before painting galahs. I am keen to do more watercolour work but need practice
