Can’t seem to keep your plants alive? Want to learn more about the magic of indoor plants? Then this is the workshop for you!
A lot of people believe they have a “brown thumb” because they don’t have success keeping plants alive. However, at Wattle & Bee we know it’s simply a matter of learning. Which is why we’ve created a mini horticulture crash course!
In just 2 hours we cover all the necessary topics such as:
  • Watering
  • Fertilisers
  • Repotting
  • Propagation
  • Pests & disease
  • Different indoor plants (and their requirements)
And the best bit is, you get to learn all this in a hands-on interactive class, with your very own indoor plant to take home.
There is also the opportunity for Q&A – you can ask our plant expert, Felicity, any burning plant questions you have.
This workshop is designed for plant lovers of all experience levels. Our expert instructor will guide you through the best methods of plant care, providing you with valuable skills to care for your green companions.
You will leave this class with the confidence to give your plants what they need to thrive.

  • 5/5 from Laura Meirelles, attended Sep 2026: Great class for beginners! Felicity’s passion for plants is noticeable, and the way she explains makes everything feel super easy! I left the class more confident to take care of my plants!
  • 5/5 from Fiona Lake, attended Sep 2026: I thoroughly enjoyed my course today and lucky me had a 121 session. Initially I was hoping to do a general beginners course in gardening but nothing was available so I opted instead for this one. Well I won’t have to do another course for now. The session covered everything I wanted. We covered all the areas I needed from soil, fertiliser, insects, watering and pruning. It was hands on and very easy to follow. I took lots of notes and will be putting what I learnt into practice this weekend. I stopped on the way home to buy the various bits and pieces I now know I needed. Thank you Wattle and Bee. I would highly recommend!
  • 4/5 from Margaret Pham, attended Aug 2026: The teacher was very knowledgeable and discussed all aspects of plant care including re-potting, watering, fertiliser, pest problems and propagation. I got to re-pot a lovely Rabbit's Foot White Fern and got given two cuttings to take home to try and water propagate. I learnt a lot. Thank you.
  • 5/5 from Sally-Ann Pigram, attended May 2026: Attended the beginners class. Would highly recommend! Beautiful set up and lots of time to ask questions along the way. Learnt a lot and looking forward to attending another class there.
  • 5/5 from Ken Burgin, attended May 2026: A solid, practical workshop that gave me much more confidence to handle soil types, repotting, choosing the right plants for a location and feeding them. Highly recommended!
  • 5/5 from Christina Lai, attended Mar 2026: I had a great time! The class was small and intimate, and we learned how to repot, covering everything from lighting and soil to watering and pest control. It was a genuinely fun and welcoming space to ask questions and build confidence as a plant owner, and without feeling pressured to buy anything. I’ve had plants before but was mostly winging it, so I highly recommend it if you want to feel more confident with yours. Thanks Felicity!
