Porcelarts is an abbreviation of “Porcelain” and “Art”, created by Nihon Vogue-Sha Co. Ltd., a Japanese handicraft company.
Although it has been popular in Japan for a few years among socialites, it is a completely new hobby in other countries including Australia! Once you try, you will be surprised at how amazing porcelain work you can make by hand. This hobby is ideal for gatherings with the girls, hens parties and bridal parties together with afternoon tea.
Imagine when you invite some friends to your place on a special day, you can use a set of your own handmade teacups and pot to make teas for them. How gorgeous!

Pick your favourite design from decalcomania transfer paper; paste them on white porcelain with water then fire the piece in an electric kiln. Your design will be placed permanently.
Porcelarts work is safe as dinnerware and can be washed in the dishwasher.
What you'll get
A set of teacup and saucer in your own design after 2-3 days of the class

  • 5/5 from Laura Cooper, attended Apr 2023: I loved this experience. Erica is friendly, was easy to contact, and the location was good. We had a private sitting and went over our time, but Erica was very generous and gracious, allowing us to finish all our design pieces. Highly recommend spending time to design a teacup using decals, so you can create a customized tea cup. I booked on ClassBento by purchasing a voucher and then reached out to Erica and the ClassBento team to book a session. This was my first ClassBento and I am looking forward to doing more!
  • 5/5 from Antonella Albini, attended Jan 2023: Had so much fun creating my custom cup. Erica ensured it was a reflection / expression of myself and I was able to create something which reflected my prospective business. The individual attention was great for me but I can see how much fun this would be for bridal showers etc
  • 5/5 from Elizabeth Kelly, attended Oct 2022: Erica created a really beautiful private event for my mother and I to celebrate her birthday. Her knowledge about porcelain was wonderful and the setting was very peaceful for this class with a picnic where we were able to design a couple of teacups that reflected our personalities.
  • 5/5 from Hoi Mak, attended Dec 2021: Erica is very nice and patient. Willing to share her experiences with us. We enjoy our time very much.
  • 5/5 from Anna Cunningham, attended Feb 2021: Lovely teacher, was a relaxing and fun activity. Plenty of design options and a nice space for creating.
  • 5/5 from Kelly Zurek, attended Jan 2021: I haven't enjoyed an activity as much as I did decorating my cup&saucer with Alice in Wonderland images. The class was small & intimate & I gained a lot of knowledge of overgrazed teacups as an art form.I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to make & take home a functional piece of art.I will use my cup everyday.Am so proud of my creation.
  • 5/5 from Kholoud Kedowah, attended Oct 2020: It was a amazing workshop I really enjoyed my time. Erica is very nice person. She is an artist. Definitely I’ll repeat the experience again. Highly recommended
