  • 5/5 from Gina Hooper, attended Feb 2026: Tanya was awesome! She explained how our different machines worked, and the variations to look for from machine to machine. Her experience is evident, and the tips and tricks invaluable. The pace was perfect; lots of information, but also practical reinforcement. I am feeling way more confident with my machine after taking her class, and look forward to extending my new skills in future classes.
  • 5/5 from Mia McKay, attended Mar 2025: Loved the class!! Teachers were amazing, great for beginners, made a gorgeous pillow :) definitely want to do more classes here.
  • 5/5 from Isabella Dib, attended Aug 2024: The class was exactly what I needed to start sewing and using my machine correctly. An enjoyable experience!
  • 5/5 from Jennifer Luu, attended Apr 2024: Highly recommend! When my partner and I began this workshop, we had zero knowledge of sewing - we left at the end of the day equipped with a whole new skillset and feeling confident about using the machine. It's a great intensive introduction to sewing if you want to get up to speed quickly - you will learn the ins and outs of a sewing machine, troubleshooting problems, hemming, cutting out patterns, straight and zigzag stitches, making buttonholes and of course a cushion cover. Our instructor, Tanja, was patient, attentive and friendly - she answered questions with enthusiasm, was great at troubleshooting mistakes and made the whole experience enjoyable. You will also get a take-home goody bag of sewing essentials, including the cushion insert.
  • 5/5 from Venessa Lord, attended Oct 2023: I cannot express in words how thankful i am to our teacher Tanya for her knowledge & patience with me at the Beginners Sewing Class. On arrival i was nervous, anxious & uncertain as to whether a 55 yr old could be taught a new skill. With Tanya's reassurance, guidance & encouragement, i learnt how to sew & for that, i am incredibly thankful. I look forward to attending more classes to broaden my knowledge & confidence.
  • 5/5 from Soleil Auciello, attended Mar 2023: The teacher Tanja was lovely, she was super patient and helpful when me and other classmates got stuck, we had alot of laughs and I gained so much from this class! We were provided a beginner's sewing pack, they even provided me with left handed scissors! We were also given calico to practice our stitches on, and the sewing machines were super easy to use and learn. The venue is quite intimate but a lovely clean studio space, I am happily looking into my next class!
