Come along to this fun-filled workshop and learn the art of ocean waves while creating your very own unique cheeseboard. During the ocean wave cheeseboard class, you’ll learn how to work with resin, choose colours, and create beautiful lacing and cells in your waves. You’ll take home your own handmade masterpiece, perfect for entertaining or giving as a thoughtful present.
You don’t need any previous experience - everything will be explained step by step, so you can relax and enjoy the activity. You’ll learn how to:
  • Mix and pour resin
  • Eliminate bubbles
  • Choose colours for your design (hundreds available)
  • Create great lacing and cells in your ocean waves
  • Make a cheeseboard you’ll be proud to use or gift
If waves aren’t your thing, you can create your design using colour instead. You’ll work with a quality rectangular wood board, or choose from a few other shapes, and be guided throughout the creative process. Meet like-minded creative people, bring your friends or family along, and enjoy a fun and uplifting experience. It’s perfect for a Christmas party, hens’ night or family time. Light refreshments are included.
Your board will require 48 hours of curing time, and I’ll sand off any drips for you too. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be amazed at what you can create and feel inspired by your new skills. You’ll leave with a beautiful handmade cheeseboard and the confidence to learn how to make your own presents.

Hello! I'm Sonja. I've always enjoyed some form of creativity throughout my life, but I'll be honest, I've never thought of myself as an 'artist'.
I stumbled upon alcohol ink art and was just mesmerised! This beautiful art form was definitely for me, with it's fluid and abstract nature and the colours were amazing. Since starting that journey, I've added resin art and jewellery to the repertoire and sometimes combine them all together! I'm always learning....new styles, new techniques and love to create unique things every day. Mt brain doesn't stop pinging with ideas!
Long story short, you don't have to be a talented 'artist' to be able to create beautiful art (in any form), you just need to try, have fun and enjoy the process rather than worrying about the end result. I'm proof that any beginner can create art worthy of admiration.
I've taught stamping classes and some resin art and wanted to offer workshops to anyone interested in creating. I've recently started teaching at a local community college too.
Come and join one of my workshops, it'll be fun & relaxing and let's create some gorgeous art together. Look forward to seeing you.
