At Girl & Grain, we believe there's something pretty special about making something with your own hands. Our mission is simple: to share the joy of making! It's about getting creative, learning something new, surprising yourself with what you can do and experiencing that wonderful sense of satisfaction when something you've made comes together. And we think those experiences are even better when they're shared. The Great Billy Cart Challenge brings that spirit into the workplace, giving colleagues the opportunity to set aside their usual roles and connect through a shared, creative experience. What better way to bring people together and build stronger workplace connections than by rolling up your sleeves! One Billy Cart. Endless Creative Possibilities! In our session, your team will work together to assemble (pre-cut) plywood components into one seriously impressive, full-sized billy cart. With guidance from Girl & Grain founder and experienced woodworking educator Katie, participants will work in teams to build each component of the billy cart and bring it to life. There are plenty of opportunities for your team's imagination to run wild and really have fun. From using tools to assemble the body, building and decorating the spoiler, constructing the winner's trophy, or bringing the aesthetic personality to the cart, there's a way for everyone to contribute!Every participant will also have the opportunity to make and personalise their very own miniature billy cart. Using a colourful collection of craft materials and a hot-glue gun, they'll create their own personalised billy cart. And once they're all complete, we'll come together and race them, adding some light-hearted competition to the session.Make even more of your day!
