I received printed written instructions as requested, everyone had name tags, and verbal instructions were clearly demonstrated in stages. Class was small with just 5 participants so it was intimate and easy to follow. Rebecca was a lovely teacher. Highly recommended soapmaking class for beginners.

The venue is fabulous, set in an old industrial building, with plenty of light and space. Rebecca was friendly and warm, i felt quite at ease. She showed us the process then the class was let loose with all the ingredients! Rebecca kept a watchful eye on us, and was quick to answer any questions. The ingredients were plentiful and easy to handle, and the mixing part, which initially seemed a little stressful, ultimately proved not so bad. We were free to choose our clays (to create the colour), the essential oil fragrances and any finishing flourishes on top. We were all really pleased with our final products, and I can't wait to be able to use my own hand made soap! As an added bonus, my car now smells delicious too

The teacher was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. For someone who doesn’t like driving in or near the city, I found the venue easy to get to. I am looking forward to going back for another class.

At this cold process soap class I've learnt how to make the soap n how to work safe with the lye. Awesome class n I highly recommend if you want to do something interesting n exciting. Even if you go there alone. They will make you feel at home n comfortable. Go for it! Well done Rebecca n Naomi. Hope to attend your other class soon when I come back from overseas around mid October.

Everything was included from the essential oils to the botanicals to decorate the soap. Learned a lot today and hopefully come back in the future to make extra soap!!

I could not have been more wrong- this class was just so fantastic and fun and easy to follow the teacher. This class is now my favourite out of all ClassBento classes I have attended. It was just so great in every way. The venue was exceptional- so beautiful to attend. The teacher was amazing I really liked her and her teaching style. Naomi and the teacher were both very friendly and hospitable. They offered a sweet morning tea and coffee. The instructions were very clear and I liked that the reasoning behind the steps was explained. The materials were largely local and fit with the 'buy local/eco friendly' theme. It felt good to be using them! Alternative options were also mentioned for if we wanted to do them ourselves in future. Loved this workshop! Wouldn't hesitate to book a class with a friend in future - got a lot of value out of attending.

Pictured are the soaps I cut from the mould I got from the class a week after just leaving it to cure for a week or so. The bars were more solid after a few more weeks passed. Overall enjoyed the class, teachers were great, and me and my mum have actually gone through all the soap bars since then. They're good quality soaps that don't leave your skin feeling dry and itchy. Hopefully I can sell my own soap bar in future once I get more experience. I think it's a fun hobby to have as well because there are so many different ingredients and things you can use and experiment with when making soap.

They were super helpful and even stayed back for a few minutes to answer a few questions my mother had for them. There is parking nearby, but you do need to get there early because it does fill up quick. We got to keep the soap we made and the reinforced silicone mould. I would recommend this to anyone interested in soap making.
