All materials were supplied, she had a nice variety of colours. I learned that I’m not the best with a compass and this art does require a lot of drawing lines but I must say once the pattern is done the painting part is very relaxing to me. I’m happy with my final artwork.

Betul is a great teacher, so patient and calm. She will welcome you to her art space and you'll immediately feel at ease. She has great knowledge and was very informative and happy to answer my (many) questions (use of different media, differences between techniques). I've learnt a lot about the traditional technique of geometric art and am now more enthusiastic than ever to do more. I've also learnt a lot about new media and different types of colours, which is great for me as I like discovering new forms of doing art. It's been such a nice afternoon. I highly recommend this class, whether you are so much into art like me or even just if you want to spend a pleasant afternoon. It's fun and it can be a good way to relax and practice meditative art too. Not to mention the result, as you'll go home with your own signature piece of geometric art. Highly recommended :)

Betul’s patience and encouragement made the learning process both enjoyable and rewarding. By the end of the class, I was amazed at the unique design I had created, and with the provided frame, I couldn’t wait to proudly display it in my home. Betul was such a warm welcoming teacher, she is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. All material was supplied, and the instructions to create our own patterns was very clear and easy to follow. I enjoyed learning about the different islamic art styles and seeing the various pieces that Betul has made. The class is very good value for money, we ended up taking more than 2hrs to finish our paintings, and Betul was kind enough to let us stay longer to finish. Initially I wasn't sure about the less artistic & younger ones in our group but they all did really well & had a great time. She was patient with us as we had a big group of us. The supplies used were really high quality (gouache, paper, etc) A fun thing to do with the whole family.

Betul was patient with us as we took longer than expected & very accommodating of all our different colour requests. Quality of the supplies used was amazing (high end gouache, 300GSM art paper, etc).
