Junk Journal Workshop

Chase away the Sunday scaries with a little cutting, sticking, and creating.

12+ years & Adults     2 hours Class size 1 to 10 guests       $35

Spend your Sunday slowing down, switching off, and making something just for you at mishcreates.
In this relaxed, beginner-friendly Junk Journal Workshop, you’ll create your own journal filled with layers, textures, colours, and little details that make it completely yours.
Junk journalling is wonderfully imperfect. There are no rules about what goes where, nothing needs to match, and you definitely don’t need to consider yourself “creative” to enjoy it.
We’ll have a beautiful collection of papers, images, textures, and bits and pieces ready for you to cut, tear, layer, and play with. We’ll show you some simple ways to get started, then give you plenty of time to follow your own ideas.
Think of it as a few hours away from the usual Sunday noise... hands busy, mind a little quieter.
Perfect for:
  • Chasing away the Sunday scaries
  • Anyone craving a little creative me time
  • Complete beginners
  • Journal and stationery lovers
  • People who love collecting pretty papers and little treasures
  • A relaxed afternoon with a friend
  • Coming solo and trying something new
What you'll learn:
  • The basics of junk journalling
  • Simple layering and composition techniques
  • How to combine different papers, colours, and textures
  • Ways to create interesting journal pages without overthinking them
  • How to let go of perfection and enjoy the process

Recent reviews of Junk Journal Workshop

  • 5/5 from Jillian Blackall, attended Sep 2026: Mish's workshop was excellent. Mish was very welcoming and there was lots of material to use to create junk journal pages. It was the first time I had done it myself, although I had seen people do it on the internet. I think I will be back to do this workshop again and make more junk journal pages.
