Make a Breakfast Set Course: Handbuild and Ceramic Paint

This Make a Breakfast Set course in our Sydney studio is a pottery class bundle where you can make your own mug, bowl and plate from start to finish! In the first session, you will make your pieces, and then two weeks later, you will come back and paint your pieces before the final firing. Receive your finished set a few weeks later!In the 2.5-hour Make a Breakfast Set Workshop, we focus on form and skills to make your very own handmade mug, bowl and plate. You will be guided by Emily (owner of Posy Ceramics) in the two skills of Pinch Pot and Slab Building. You will have full creative control over the shape, size and handle of your mug. Two weeks later, when you return you will join the 2-hour Pottery Painting Workshop. We will focus on designing a print and drawing it on your bisque-fired creations. You have access to a range of colours of underglazes to finish off your perfect piece!What to expect from your first Posy Workshop:All workshops are beginner-friendly and do not require any prior knowledge of ceramics. If you have prior experience, it’s also catered to all levels. It's fun and social, and everyone will end up with a finished functional ceramic creation. Lots of attendees come alone, so don’t be scared if you don’t have a friend to bring along with you! We all sit together, listen to tunes and share stories and laughs!BYO:Our venue is BYO, so you can bring whatever bevvies (alc or non-alc) that you'd like!The pieces are functional and can be put in the dishwasher/microwave once complete.
