  • 5/5 from Courtney Wilson, attended Sep 2026: The teacher was lovely and the atmosphere was calm. We had plenty of time to relax and paint. It was also baby friendly - space for them to sit in the pram next to us.
  • 4/5 from James Leontsinis, attended Sep 2026: Our teacher gave us free reign over how we worked on our pieces. There weren’t as many items as I had initially thought, but they informed of us how colours that initially seemed to weirdly dry put would darken, as well as layering colours (and to be careful with it). We were running late because of traffic but our teacher was super understanding and relaxed.

We'll definately be back!
  • 5/5 from Jessica Cea, attended Aug 2026: 10/10 would do again, so relaxing and fun, just would be sure to call and ask not to be booked with any kids parties at the same time if you get overstimulated easily! But very very calming experience and lovely staff! Great service!
  • 5/5 from Cathie Nguyen, attended Jul 2026: As a first-timer, I chose a salad bowl because of its great size and open canvas. Painting on the curved surface was a fun challenge, but the entire session was incredibly therapeutic, relaxing, and flew by way too fast. I absolutely cannot wait to see how the colors transform into a shiny, food-safe finish.

  • 5/5 from Rachel Barin Stephens, attended May 2026: Booked this class for a team building event and was very impressed from start to finish. Our teacher was friendly, knowlegable and made us feel so welcome! They had a great selection of pottery pieces to choose from, all reasonably priced too so everyone was able to choose their own pieces instead of being given a specific piece of pottery to paint. I would highly recommend for a small or large group.

  • 4/5 from Lynley Barnett, attended Apr 2026: Great set up and friendly staff.
  • 5/5 from Angelica Teng, attended Mar 2026: I went here with my friend and the store was so cute. Seeing other people’s artworks for sale and the previous students’ works on display was inspiring. The workers there were really friendly and they were very accomodating. They kept making sure we were okay with our progress and reminding us of their services of free tea or coffee. My friend and I chose a bowl and espresso + saucer to paint. Aprons and sketchbooks were also provided along with the paint which made it feel more welcoming to experiment and make mistakes. The original booking was to stay there for 2 hours but we ended up chatting and painting for four. To be honest if my friend didn’t stop me I might of gone for longer to add more details and features. I recommend this class to anyone wanting to find a creative space to try out new art. It felt more welcoming and manageable to create something I will enjoy and love compared to making pottery by scratch. The pottery you can paint are also all practical so you can use your finished product in multiple ways.

Hi, I’m Imogen — the founder of Craft & Soul, a cosy creative studio where people come to slow down, unwind, and explore art in a way that feels completely their own.
My background is actually far from the traditional “art teacher” path — I spent years working with creative technology and running creative events at work. Through all that high-energy, fast-paced work, creativity became my anchor. Making art was where I found calm, presence, and a sense of freedom.
Over time, I realised that not everyone wants formal art classes — many people just want a welcoming space, inspiring materials, and permission to play. That’s exactly what I built Craft & Soul for. Here, you choose your project, set your own pace, and let your creativity unfold naturally. My role is to curate the experience: beautiful materials, cosy ambience, helpful guidance when you need it, and a supportive space where you can just be yourself.
What I love most is watching people surprise themselves — seeing someone who hasn’t touched a paintbrush or clay since school completely light up when they realise how good it feels to make again. You don’t have to be “artistic” to belong here; you just have to be curious.
Craft & Soul is as much about wellbeing as it is about creativity. Whether you’re sculpting, stitching, painting, or simply taking a moment to breathe, my mission is to help you reconnect with that quiet, playful part of yourself that our busy lives often push aside.
I can’t wait to welcome you into the studio and give you the space, tools, and encouragement to create something completely your own.
