Hama beads are tiny, colourful beads that can be arranged on a pegboard to form all kinds of creative designs – animals, cartoon characters, symbols, letters, and more. Piece by piece, you’ll place beads to bring your chosen design to life, then fuse them with heat to make them permanent.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll:
  • Discover the basics of bead art and how to use the pegboards for different designs.
  • Arrange beads one by one to create your favourite image – from animals and characters to unique patterns and symbols.
  • Explore over 100 vibrant colours, mixing and matching to make your design truly yours.
  • Watch the magic as your artwork is heat-fused into a finished piece.
  • Add accessories to transform your design into keychains, magnets, coasters, wind chimes, luggage tags, or thoughtful handmade gifts.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll not only leave with your own personalised bead creations but also the skills and inspiration to keep making fun, colourful designs at home.

  • 5/5 from Casey Reibelt, attended Oct 2026: Loved this class so much! First time trying Hama beads, and the staff were so nice and supportive. Such a great experience! Highly recommend.
  • 5/5 from Camilla Leong, attended Jun 2026: Was positioned next to the window and the natural sunlight was enough for me to see properly without a desk lamp. Zoe gave me suggestions on the colours to use and instructions. The beads were really small and had to concentrate and tried really hard not to shake as it would wreck any progress I’ve made already. Made 2 in the end.
  • 5/5 from Roop Kaur, attended Jun 2026: I booked the Hama beads class for me and my boyfriend since it was his birthday, and it’s needless to say that I had one of the best experiences, I had to email the teacher regarding couple of issues and she was so professional and understanding willing to make adjustments, the class itself felt super refreshing, we didn’t feel rushed or controlled she nicely explained how to work everything and let us do our thing simply amazing!!!
