More than making a perfume, you’ll discover a whole new way to experience scent.

Your experience begins with a sensory journey designed to awaken your curiosity and inspire creativity.

Then, you will:

Discover how perfumers think, understand fragrance families, perfume structure and why certain notes work beautifully together.
Explore a professional fragrance library of over 180 carefully curated ingredients, from rare and precious materials such as Oud, Orris Butter, and Osmanthus Absolute to captivating notes including Fig Leaf, White Tea, Pink Pepper and White Musk.
Create and refine two unique fragrances from scratch, with guidance throughout the process.
Choose from a selection of elegant perfume bottles and personalise your fragrance with a custom name and elegant label.

No previous fragrance knowledge is needed. Whether you already love perfume or are simply curious about scent, the experience is designed to be creative, personal and easy to enjoy.

There were plenty of options for scents and combinations making it fully customizable. There were 4 mini bottles options and around 10-20 bigger bottles and you got one small and one big bottle for your perfume to go in and then you get a little pouch for the perfume aswell. Teacher gave snacks and drinks making the experience very comfortable!

Alyssa is really friendly and passionate about perfumery, which really shows during the class. She also loves to share her experiences working with perfurmeries and local brands while developing her own fragrances. I enjoy the fact that she uses really good quality ingredients. When I go perfume shopping I will normally get nauseous within 15 minutes but that was not the case at all in this 3 hour class. The class size made it feel really warm and personal. We made good conversation with Alyssa and I can't wait to bring more friends here. Definitely one of the best workshops I been to so far!

I really enjoyed the process of smelling over 100 different fragrance materials one by one, discovering the notes I liked, and combining them to create my own perfume. Whenever I was unsure about which scent to choose, she kindly recommended other fragrances that would work well with the notes I had selected. After I finished making my perfume, she also gave me a name sticker and some high-quality scented cards. I still haven’t decided on a name for my perfume because I’m still thinking about it! What I loved most was that she didn’t just make it feel like a customer experience. She made me feel like a real perfumer. Even though this was my very first perfume-making class, her thoughtful explanations and guidance made it such a memorable introduction to the world of perfumery. For $128, I thought the experience was well worth it. If you’re interested in perfume or looking for something a little different to do for a special occasion, I’d definitely recommend this experience. I had such a lovely time!

The class was paced at a very good speed for us as beginners but with our host's knowledge we think it would be a great class for those in the industry or with more perfume experience too. The class was great, we learnt how to create interesting complex (or simpler if you prefer) scents using a wide range of premium ingredients. The class sizes are intimate, and the sessions are great fun for friends or couples. Tea/water and snacks were also provided which is another plus. There were also a wide range of bottles to choose from to store your fragrances. Will definitely recommend the classes to friends and family.

I’m a bit of a perfume lover and have done a few perfume workshops before, but this was easily my favourite. Great range of ingredients, a really relaxed vibe, and plenty of time to experiment. I also got to smell a few Australian native ingredients for the first time, which was a nice surprise. Ended up chatting with another perfume lover in the class too, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth doing if you’re in Sydney.

What impressed me most was that Alyssa never simply asked what kind of perfume I wanted to make. Instead, she asked thoughtful questions, introduced different ingredients, and encouraged me to compare and explore. Somehow, the whole process helped me understand my own preferences in a way I never had before. By the end of the workshop, I wasn’t just leaving with a perfume I loved, I was leaving with one that genuinely felt like me. What I love most is that no two workshops feel the same. You’re never following a recipe or trying to recreate someone else’s perfume. You’re learning how to smell, how to think about fragrance, and how to trust your own instincts. Ever since my first class, I’ve started noticing little scents everywhere—flowers, tea, rain, even places I walk past every day. I never expected a perfume workshop to change the way I experience the world, but somehow it has. That’s why I came back, and honestly, I’d happily do it again.

I was the only one in workshop but made no difference as Alyssa was so professional, patient and taught me so much about perfume. The ingredients are very high quality and she helped me to “translate” emotion to an actual perfume. I just love the scents that she has made herself and made the workshop so special. I am quite picky about perfume but so happy with this one. I have done another perfume workshop on ClassBento before but Alyssa is exceptional. I highly recommend anyone to go to Rikka for making perfume!!

My partner and I learnt so much about different scents and what it took to curate our ideal scent. My favourite part of this class was combining all of the scents I enjoyed the most.
