Come along to Venus Art Bench Studio in The Ponds (near Rouse Hill) and experience the beauty of therapeutic art while learning watercolours.
In this two and a half-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of watercolour techniques and brushwork. You will dip into a beautiful meditative state to relax your senses, overcome any inhibitions and lean into using beautiful watercolours to create a stellar night-sky abstract landscape.
Perfect for beginners, Venus will teach you different watercolour techniques that can be used in a varied number of artworks.
During this workshop, you will be guided through:
  • A calming stone meditation session
  • Basic watercolour painting techniques
  • Basic watercolour brushwork
  • How to paint your own night sky using watercolour techniques
You will be creating your very own watercolour night-sky composition. Isn't that amazing?
At the end of the class, you will take home your own beautiful artwork, technique practice sheet, your personal meditation stone as well as an opportunity to win a free gift!

There was a glitch in the booking and she was unaware of the booking and taken by surprise when i turned up. She very calmly obliged and in no time set up everything for the class and also served water and some refreshing tea. And played calm music. It was a wonderful meditation session before flowing into the amazing medium of water colour, which Venus so patiently showed the gradiation and let me try. She let me choose what I would like to paint and helped draft the landscape and guided me through the session. It was my very first time trying out water painting and I absolutely enjoyed the class. Venus is an amazing teacher.
