This is a fun and enjoyable class giving you all the skills to produce these gorgeous treats for birthday parties, hens parties and other special celebrations!

Using perfect sponge cake pop recipes from our portfolio, this is a hands-on class to show you how to coat and decorate these popular treats using Belgian chocolate and simple sugarcraft techniques.

What you'll learn:

  • All about the perfect ‘POP’ sponge.
  • How to properly prepare cake pops.
  • How to use Belgian chocolate for the coating.
  • Dipping cake pops – the best techniques.
  • Simple decorating techniques including sprinkles and the CCC lines.
  • Creating decorations using chocolate moulds.
  • How to make delicate decorations using sugarcraft tools and paintbrushes to bring each creation to life.
  • Tips and tricks.
  • How to achieve the perfect dip!

Cake pops are versatile delicacies that add a delightful and mouth-watering twist to any celebration or sweet display.

At the end of this hands-on class, take home a box of your delicious creations and the confidence to continue making these sweet treats.

All of our Academy classes are held at our brand new Baking Academy venue (Shop 1 / 142 Spit Road, Mosman, NSW 2088)

Cancellation Policy: Refunds are not offered for cancellations.

Rescheduling: Changes to class date are available through The Classic Cupcake Co, but incur a $30 rebooking fee.


Knowledge required
Beginners welcome. No previous experience is required.
 
What you'll get
The class price includes all materials, recipes and handouts, all sugarcraft tools, equipment and of course, your box of cake pops to take home.
 
What to bring
  • You are required to wear solid, comfortable shoes with closed toes and no high heels.
  • We advise not wearing warm and bulky clothing as you may get hot during the class.
  • Due to health and safety regulations you are required to have your hair neatly tied back at all times and wear a face mask throughout the class.
  • It is also recommended that you wear an apron.
Suitable for

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, birthday or hens party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 10 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.

We use only the finest ingredients: locally sourced free range eggs, organic vanilla, pure butter and the world’s most exquisite chocolate – Callebaut, made from sustainably grown cocoa beans by the maitre chocolatiers of Belgium.
