It was a surprise for my partner who has been keen to get back into artistry, and a pottery class was a great way to do that. We both thoroughly enjoyed the class, the teaching method, the inclusivity with the other attendees, the pace, the location…there was nothing we could fault. We are both very grateful for Heather being so patient with us and making it a fun environment.

We sipped moscato and shared life stories with Heather while we waited for the last guest to arrive. It’s easy to see that Heather’s workshop/ store is more than just a space. The last guest has known Heather for many years and so while we were making our clay pieces, my friend and I felt part of the community through the stories they were sharing. It felt like turning up to your favourite aunt’s place to do something crafty and beautiful together while catching up on life. It was such a light hearted and fun experience; a real birthday treat for me! I wouldn’t say I learned many technical skills, but I absolutely recommend Heather’s class if you’re up for a fun and relaxed afternoon/ evening of craft with friends (and friends-to-be). We did make some beautiful pieces that we are so proud of though. Heather even sent us off with a block of complimentary clay so we can continue dabbling in this art form! Can’t wait to get our pieces back. Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon of great fun and laughter, Heather!
