Uncover the diverse flavours of the Meditteranean in this online cooking class! Guided by Australian Chef Lisa Mead, you will learn how to cook a three-course meal all from the comfort of your own home.

During this online class, you will discover how to balance different flavours in your menu. You have the option to simply observe the class as you enjoy a glass of wine so you're equipped to recreate the dishes later or follow along step-by-step with Chef Lisa's virtual guidance.

On the menu:

  • Starter: Cracked pepper and vodka infused pumpkin soup.
  • Main: Linguine zucchini tossed in a pistachio pesto sauce with jumbo prawns, a sprinkle of a toasted blend of garlic, vermouth and panko bread crumbs. Garnished with a Parmesan lace tuile.
  • Dessert: Secret Garden - a delicate flower made from filo pastry filled with a delicious flavoured mascarpone cream with a hint of Madagascar vanilla, topped with mixed berries and a swirl of soft toffee.

I have been lucky enough to be working in a profession I am passionate about. For the past 26 years I have been cheffing on private luxury yachts throughout Australia, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, picking up new ideas and cooking techniques along the way. When you are confined to a small Galley (kitchen) onboard a yacht, you learn excellent time management and skills. I have created simplified recipes that taste delicious and look great. I also believe in sourcing local ingredients. I look forward to passing on my knowledge to you.
