Cultural Dumpling Class: Once-Off Lunch Pop-Up

Be taken care of for a full 4 hours, from prawn crackers and local artisanal drinks on arrival, all the way to the end, flipping potstickers and giving our hot sauces a go!We begin the day with a brief history of Chinese food and regional differences, then we guide you through Australian produce and how to pick the freshest ingredients. This isn't a demo class; throughout the whole time, we are very hands-on and invite you to get involved, from using a cleaver and cutting fine cabbage strips to beginner folding techniques to some more delicate shapes for those ready for the challenge.Your taste buds will thank you as we let you try and taste new flavours, show you what sauces are paired with which dumplings, and end on a well-earned sit-down feast together. Make sure to save room for our seasonal dessert and Chinese tea at the end, too!The best part: you get to have a Chinese Mum for the day! No question is too difficult, and she passes on some of her kitchen tips and tricks from cooking for over 65 years.
