  • 5/5 from Naveesha Perera, attended Sep 2026: Yogana was amazing! Great instructions and easy to follow
  • 5/5 from Renee Denmeade, attended Sep 2026: The teacher was patient and funny. We didn’t feel any pressure if we made a mistake and she was hands on, which helps so much!
  • 5/5 from David Bradley, attended Aug 2026: Such a fun class! The instructor was super friendly and helpful. Which really made the experience easy and enjoyable.
  • 4/5 from Lockie Peters, attended Aug 2026: Teacher was very good and very skilled. She explained everything well. However, the environment was not good for a pottery and sip (ie: it felt more serious and not a good environment for having a drink in). Given we paid extra for the sip portion, I would recommend not doing the sip and just doing a pottery class.
  • 4/5 from Tanya Nguyen, attended Jun 2026: I booked this class to celebrate a friends birthday and it was really fun. Our teacher greeted us and got us all set up. It was well guided but had a few interruptions from people finishing their class or collecting their creations. The steps were clear and the size of the pottery we were able to choose is a great size. The teacher focused on certain people who needed more attention and also allowed the creative ones to do their own designs. It was a great class and very fun.
  • 5/5 from Celine Al Draibi, attended May 2026: Teacher was great and we had loads of fun highly recommend
  • 5/5 from Wesley, attended May 2026: Really enjoyed this pottery class! The instructor provided great guidance throughout, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and stress-free. Even as a beginner, I felt supported and confident the entire time. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, creative session.

The instructor was incredibly patient and kind, taking the time to guide everyone and make sure we felt comfortable and confident. It was a really relaxing and creative experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new!
  • 5/5 from Gaetano Pezzino, attended Mar 2026: Lovely class and time today at the pottery class, we learned how to do bowls, and we destroyed many others. Favorites part, the karate chop

  • 5/5 from Emma Frassetto, attended Feb 2026: What a great class! We got to try 4 different vessels, choosing our favourite at the end to fire & keep. 2 hours was a good amount of time to get the feel of it and create something worth keeping!
  • 5/5 from Ben Sawyer, attended Feb 2026: We both loved the class, Yegana is a fantastic teacher, both had no prior experience in pottery making but were able to produce something that we were proud to take home. A very satisfying 2 hours. Massive thanks to Yegana especially as she was kind enough to let us reschedule when we had an incident en route to the original booking. Can’t wait to pick up the finished pieces! :)
  • 5/5 from Jessica Fleifel, attended Feb 2026: Yegana was so great! She gave great instructions and was so helpful! We had so much fun and already want to go back!
  • 5/5 from Aarthi, attended Feb 2026: My partner and I took this pottery class and had such a lovely time! It was a little tricky to start with but once I got the hang of shaping the clay, it felt so relaxing and satisfying!! Thanks to Yegana, our instructor for this class - she guided us step by step through our first piece, then let us explore on our own with the rest. This was such a fun experience!
  • 5/5 from Sakkthi Srikumar, attended Feb 2026: Yegana was amazing with step-by-step instructions which made me feel like it was not my first time with clay and pottery. So excited and found satisfying. Would be back. Highly recommended for anyone who would like to give pottery a try!
  • 5/5 from Ben York, attended Feb 2026: Very fun and beginner friendly

  • 4/5 from Erin Moore, attended Oct 2025: I had a great time celebrating my 30th birthday at Silky Shapes Pottery in Willoughby with family and friends. The teacher was very knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly and attentive and really helped everyone with getting the shape they wanted/answering questions. The experience was very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my session was advertised as private, although when I arrived there were 2 other couples that joined the session/space. As it was my birthday I was hoping to have a private space. We all still enjoyed the class.
