Shipping is free, and it should arrive within 2 to 4 business days for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra; 4 to 9 days elsewhere. We ship nationwide. Enjoy the online class - after booking, you'll get a pre-recorded video with instructions. You're welcome to ask the teacher any questions you have.

What you'll do

Begin your journey into the fun world of DIY mosaics with Creativity Wild!

With your pre-recorded class and kit, you'll receive a fab 90-minute intro to mosaic class plus a 90-minute bonus video. You'll also gain access to Creativity Wild's Facebook community for students.

In this class Creativity Wild's mosaic artist, Miriam will show you how to:

Make a mosaic using ceramic tiles and mixed media materials
Set up your work area and work safely
Cut and break tiles using a nipper and a hammer
Create an attractive design using line and colour
Use adhesives to create your design using the ‘haphazard’ technique
Finish your design including grouting and hanging.

Miriam will also share helpful dos and don'ts based on her own experience.

The class explains the entire process from start to finish. You can follow step by step at your own pace. As an added bonus the class is always available so you can watch it over and over! The bonus material shows Miriam making the mosaic from start to finish. No secrets here - everything is explained in full detail.

You also get access to Creativity Wild’s private student Facebook page where you can ask questions and share your amazing mosaics.

Combine the class with a Creativity Wild Mosaic Kit which includes the tools and materials you need to successfully complete your own DIY mosaic projects. Or you can use your own materials with a complete list of what is required provided prior to the class.

This class is suitable for preschoolers and infant school children with adult supervision. Kids should be supervised when making their mosaic.

Beginners welcome. No skills or prior knowledge are required. Everything is explained.

Creativity Wild Mosaics is a Sydney-based art studio and classroom.

Operating for more than a decade, it is owned by artist/teacher Miriam Ross. Miriam has been creating and teaching mosaics and craft for more than twenty years. Her goal is to give every person, no matter their age or perceived ability, an opportunity to create a beautiful and substantial piece of art that they can be proud of.

Hence, Miriam has worked with many preschools, primary and secondary schools, after school and holiday care, aged care, community groups, special needs and corporate clients. She has also worked on a voluntary basis with hospitals and other not for profit organisations.

Miriam has students who love attending mosaic workshops in her classroom at botany. “Whenever I work with people the process is the same – I help each person find their own unique creative style, then help them express that creativity through mosaic art. When I work with schools and large groups we work together to create a unique mosaic that reflects their emotions and values”.

All CW mosaics include students’ artworks and ideas. “This ensures students have ownership and pride in their beautiful mosaic and feel connected to it."
