This class is for beginner gardeners who wish to start growing plants!
What to bring
- A notepad and pen, or tablet/phone, to take notes
- Gardening gloves
- A face mask (to protect against potential potting mix/garden soil bacteria such as Legionella)
- Optional: One or two of your own plants to pot up or re-pot, or propagate or prune. If you are potting or re-potting your plant(s), please also bring a small bag of potting mix (the College can supply pots)
- Optional: One or two of your own plants for discussion on watering, feeding or growing issues

C1-1: Training Room - 2A Gordon Street, Rozelle NSW
Public transport is available from Victoria Road and Darling Street. We cannot guarantee that there will be parking available onsite due to the limited number of spaces. On weekdays, there are 11 onsite car spaces available for free parking. On weeknights and weekends, 15 onsite car spaces are available for free parking. There is also free council parking on the corner of Evans Street and Victoria Road. The surrounding street parking is limited as it is a residential area. Please be mindful of residents if parking on the surrounding streets.

Richard Lynch
Richard is a product of career diversity across industry sectors of Photography, Botany, Horticulture, Teaching, Science, Landscape Design & Construction, Open Spaces Management, and Training and Assessment.
He has exhibited as a photographer in Fine Arts and Street photography. He has taught thousands of students over the past 10 years, and has been instrumental in the development of the photography program. His most recent qualifications – the Diploma of Photo Imaging and the recent Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, ensure a professional understanding of current developments in the industry.Richard has a long history as a freelance contractor as well as extended experience in consultancy in the training and assessment industry, and is passionate about delivering quality in community learning with a relaxed style that is packed full of information, discussion, fun and entertainment.Richard is currently studying towards the leading industry specialist course in Instructional Design, and doing a professional upgrade in the Diploma of Training Design and Development.
