  • 5/5 from Carolyn Taylor, attended Jul 2025: Last night I had the pleasure of attending an Italian cooking class at Pass the Parmesan. We made gnocchi from scratch, a sun-dried tomato pesto, and the most delicious pear and almond cake. And learnt how to make fabulous Ragu. Such a fun night — lots of laughter, learning, and amazing food. I’d highly recommend this course if you’re looking for a great night out and delicious Italian food.
  • 5/5 from Heather Kairaitis, attended Jul 2025: What a fun & delicious evening. Everything about this course was enjoyable- starting with easy parking, Italian music and a lovely homely atmosphere. Chef Antonella firstly demonstrated her clear and simple steps and then in small groups we did it ourselves. She made it so easy to produce a gourmet meal- home made gnocchi with 2 sauces, a beef ragu and a red pesto sauce, followed by a delicious almond and pear cake. Chef Antonella is so organized with everything measured and available at your station, then she organized the cleaning up to be done for us whilst we sat down at a beautiful dining table to enjoy our delicious meal. It’s hard to believe Chef Antonella made it so easy I’m already planning on making gnocchi again. A must do course!

Ciao, I’m Antonella and I’m passionate about sharing authentic Italian cooking experiences.
My love for cooking began at the age of seven, cooking alongside my mother. Together, we created a cherished handwritten cookbook filled with recipes and tips she passed down to me. Those early experiences ignited a lifelong passion for sharing the joy of Italian cooking with people like you.
WHY COOK WITH ME?
I bring a unique blend of my Italian heritage and professional chef training to every class. After leaving the corporate world to follow my heart, I trained as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School, began selling fresh Italian products at farmers markets, and worked alongside top chefs in restaurants and function centres.
For over 18 years, I’ve been teaching Italian cooking - both online and in-person – helping cooks like you fall in love with good and flavourful Italian food.
Pass the Parmesan Italian Cooking School: Teaching is where my heart lies, and it inspired me to create my very own cooking school. I love inspiring others and sharing my knowledge through fun and interactive classes to master delicious and authentic Italian flavours.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN MY CLASSES:
  • Small class sizes for personal attention
  • Step-by-step guidance so you feel confident every step of the way
  • Authentic Italian recipes that are a joy to make, and even better to eat
  • A friendly, relaxed atmosphere where questions and laughter are always welcome!
Whether you're just starting out or ready to take your cooking skills to the next level, join me to cook, learn and share the joy of Italian food together.
I can't wait to welcome you into my home!
