What you'll do
Looking for fun activities for your teens or do you have a young chef in your home, sign them up for a cooking class for teens in Neutral Bay. This cooking class is for teens aged 13-17 years to learn how to cook a Greek feast on their school holidays!
Your kids will be led by Ana, our Greek Cooking Class teacher, who is passionate about sharing her knowledge of cooking. They will learn cooking skills and delicious, easy-to-recreate dishes to impress their family at home!
Your teens will find themselves engaged and inspired with the hands-on approach of making authentic Greek dishes. They'll be able to enjoy some of their tasty home cooked dishes the end of class and take home any delicious leftovers. During this relaxed and casual class enjoy making the following Mezze which you will enjoy platter-style.
Menu
- Sheftalies: Traditional Cypriot sausage made with simple ingredients and cooked over charcoal.
- Pork Souvlaki : Popular Greek street food of pieces of marinated meat on a skewer.
- Pitta Bread with pocket: yeast-leavened Mediterranean flatbread.
- Salted yoghurt & cucumber dip.
- Grilled Haloumi: truly delicious Cypriot cheese
- Salad: Traditional Greek salad with feta and tahini dressing
- Chef-made Dessert of Loukoumades: fried dough drizzled in honey and dusted with cinnamon.

Sydney Cooking School opened in 2010 when Executive Chef Brett Deverall pursued his dream to share his love andpassion of cooking in a fun and relaxed learning environment. Offering a range of cooking classes daily, our Neutral Bay venue is fitted with state of the art appliances and equipment from Fisher & Paykel, Breville and Anolon.
Our experienced and passionate team take pride in teaching practical, entertaining and informative cooking classes or hosting your next event.
We have a variety of themed menus and packages available, and our formats are suitable to anyone, from the absolute beginner to the more passionate cook. As well as our regularly scheduled classes, we offer masterclasses in Pastry, Chicken & Duck and Pork & Cider, as well as Children’s School Holiday classes.
If you prefer to be out of the Kitchen join us in our fabulous BBQ area for one of our Popular BBQ classes – Things really heat up in these classes so ensure you dress comfortably.
