Brighten up your day with a bit of music and learn how to play the harmonica with Tony Eyer at Sydney Community College in Rozelle!
Over six weeks, you'll get a chance to play the world's most portable instrument. Easily fitting into your pocket or purse, the harmonica is always ready when you are. Although the harmonica is central to the blues, it fits into many other styles as well.
What you'll learn:
  • The basic 12-bar blues structure, and simple harmonica patterns that fit with it.
  • How to play simple melodies and expand your repertoire.
  • Understand how informal music is played, and where to join in.
  • The history of the harmonica.
At the end of this course, you'll have the confidence to play the harmonica and continue developing your skills! All students must be over 18+ years of age.
