Create indoor green spaces by transforming your place into a clean, green purifying machine, to bring visual life into the living spaces, not for just a momentary sense of nature, but to bring a permanent presence of the whole outdoors inside.
We know that plants are scientifically proven to improve our health, productivity and creativity, and plants also help to calm us down in this fast-paced world, but there’s so much more than reducing stress! Plants are the natural anti-depressants of life - they bring joy and a sense of wonder and wellbeing for all our personal mental and physical health.
Plants sharpen attention and drive mindfulness of our interactions with our immediate surroundings. Plants in the workspace increase both productivity and creativity—a view of plant life will improve everyone’s job satisfaction.
Plants are therapeutic — practitioners are constantly using therapeutic benefits of horticultural therapy to increase feelings of well-being among people with depression, anxiety, dementia, and other conditions.
In this class, you will access fundamental aspects and a bunch of insider tips, and we will grow some plants, and share the love.

  • 5/5 from Nathan Amari, attended May 2025: Very enjoyable class. I learnt a lot about watering fertilising, repotting, growing and pruning. I enjoyed Rick’s teaching style, it was very easy to grasp the concept. I would definitely recommend it to anyone having issues with growing indoor plants or to learn a new skill.
  • 4/5 from Marg Brewster, attended Nov 2024: The course I was gifted through ClassBento was a Balcony and Courtyard Gardening Workshop, dated on 17/07/23. That was the course I thought I was attending. Due to being away I didn’t check it till a few days before the course date. When I did it had a different title and description. Unfortunately, it was too late to cancel. Some parts of the course were relevant for me, however, I wanted specific information about balcony gardening. Rick was aware of my situation and near the end of the course he answered some of my questions. It would have been an admin decision to rename the course. There was also confusion about the finishing time. There were only 4 participants and we had times ranging from 3:30, (on the walll on-site), 4, 4:30 and 5! Also, the room was changed with no signage to state that.
  • 5/5 from Scott Ellis, attended Feb 2023: Well paced class with time in the classroom and outside with plants. Teacher was engaging, practical, knowledgeable and cleverly condensed a lot of material into bite sized chunks. Thank you!
