Designing a home is a costly, time-consuming process, and a single mistake could cost thousands of dollars and add weeks or months to the project. With this workshop, you can avoid those problems, save thousands, and keep your project on track by learning the right colours and materials to use.

The workshop highlights the five most common mistakes people make when choosing a colour scheme for their home.

These mistakes include:

• Choosing colours and undertones that don't work together
• Selecting the wrong stone colour that doesn't match the splashback and cabinets
• Picking tiles and materials with different undertones that don't complement each other
• Creating a busy and unbalanced look by introducing too many elements
• Not knowing where to start and what to choose first

This class provides a comprehensive education on colour, including its fundamentals, undertones, colour schemes, contrast, and exposures. You will learn how to use all neutrals, colour, and whites, recognise all undertones, and master their usage in both standard and tricky situations. You will also engage in various hands-on exercises that teach them to recognise different undertones and make proper colour choices.

Above all, the workshop teaches different principles of interior design and how to implement them effectively in your space.

You will learn how to coordinate colours to match the materials in their homes during renovations or new builds, choose hard finishes for your kitchens and bathrooms, select perfect colours, and accessorise accordingly. • You will receive step-by-step training for each lesson in the teacher's personal studio.
• A digital workbook will be provided that summarises the crucial points of internal colour selection taught during the workshop.
• A digital copy created in Canva will teach you how to document colour so that you can keep everything organised and avoid errors, and you can even share it with your builder if necessary.
• During the hands-on workshop, invaluable samples and colours will be provided (please note that these items are not intended to be taken home).
• You will receive a complimentary colour wheel to take home.
• You will gain access to teacher's private Facebook group, where you can ask questions and share your projects.

• At the workshop, all necessary materials will be provided, so you don't need to bring anything with you. While practicing hands-on activities, you will have access to a variety of samples and colors, but please note that these materials are not meant to be taken home with you.
• Morning tea will be provided but you can bring your own lunch.
