Kyoko founded Kimono Australia as the first overseas certified kimono dressing school by The Japan Tradition Technique Instructor Association (JTTI). JTTI has 44 certified kimono schools and private practices around Japan. Her goal is to expand knowledge and awareness of Japanese culture through teaching Kimono dressing.Kyoko teaches local Australian students how to dress in kimono authentically. She is also a kimono stylist eg for special occasions and gives expert presentations. Kyoko organises a variety of kimono based events throughout the year for all kimono enthusiasts in Sydney!
