"Cricut for the Totally Terrified." Newbies this one is for you, my loves.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by all the amazing things you've seen others create with their Cricut machines? and you want to do them ALL...BUT.... Cricut Design Space is doing your head in!!!

Watch YouTube they said, join this person, watch this, read that... by the end of it all your head is just spinning, and you wonder why you spent all this money on a door stop that has sat back in its box 'While you figure this thing out'. But even the thought of it coming out of the box makes your hair stand on end, right?

I hear you; I've been there... and done all that... and more. I can't count the times I've thought about throwing my machine from my Craft room window (which is upstairs) and hoping it would sink to the bottom of the pool below.

So, wipe your eyes lovelies, you are not incompetent or unteachable so stop listening to the inner mean person and listen to me instead. I get where you are at, I've had all the same thoughts, thrown out so much product because it didn't work out... again. (if only I knew then what I know now).

Almost 8yrs ago I felt exactly like you do which is why I can relate to your frustrations. I bought a machine, I could not understand it, I spent endless nights after a full day at work trying to understand this 'thing' and spent many times in a frustrated tearful mess. I didn't want it to 'Win' I would overcome and not stop until I did.

I wanted to know how, and I wanted to share this with other beginners to avoid them going through this painful journey and discovery. Fast forward a few years to when I became the founder of the very first Cricut Classes in Brisbane and taught in a major craft store and a major electrical store and was requested to become the first Ambassador for Cricut in Queensland. Teaching beginners from one side of Brisbane to the other. Doing demos and craft events and eventually to running my own retreats and taking classes to zoom during covid.

Fast forward a few more years and I now have my own small business named 'TOO CRAFTY' ORIGINAL home of 'Cricut Classes Brisbane', teaching classes, sharing my knowledge and experiences to amazing people like yourself.

My Mantra is and always has been 'Craft is my Passion...Sharing it is my Joy.' and I sincerely mean every word. I want you to be able to feel once again the excitement you felt when you came home with or were gifted this amazing Cricut Machine.
