Learn How to Make Alfajores

You will make the Alfajor using dulce de leche (our most typical spread to use in Argentina) and talk about some substitutes and different fillings that you could use. You will then finish off your Alfajore with a coat of thin chocolate, and discover the various ways you can gift wrap them for presents.

  For the dough:

• Baking flour
• Cornstarch
• Cacao powder
• Sodium bicarbonate
• Unsalted butter
• Sugar
• Honey

• 1 Orange

For the filling:

• Dulce de Leche, you can replace it with peanut butter or Nutella
• Chocolate baking chips for coating (we recommend milk-chocolate or semi-dark)
