Are you looking for something crafty to entertain your child during these school holidays?
Look no further than this interactive online macrame masterclass, where your child will be taught by an experienced macrame artist all about the craft of macrame.
In this two and a half hour class, your child will learn:
- Basic macrame knots and their uses
- How to create a macrame keyring
- How to create macrame feathers (to turn into your own wall hanging)
- How to create a mini macrame bunting flags
Children will be encouraged to work at their own pace, focusing on learning skills they can use to create their own macrame masterpieces. A 'knot guides' PDF and macrame tutorials are included so that your child can work on several projects in their own time during the holidays.
Materials needed:
- Macrame string 5mm thickness
- Macrame cord 5mm thickness
Bookings made with Creative Kids vouchers do not include materials, however, are available to purchase as an add-on at checkout for an additional $2.
Bookings made without Creative Kids vouchers include materials automatically.
PLEASE NOTE: Be sure to select the correct ticket option - $0 Creative Kids tickets are available to people with a valid NSW Creative Kids voucher. If you do not have a valid voucher, please select the $100 General Admission ticket type.

Hi, my name is Kristyn. I am a fibre artist based in the Blue Mountains of NSW and I work with the crafts of macrame, crochet and weaving.
I started crafting after my second child was born and quickly became addicted. What started as a therapeutic hobby has now turned into a small business and I am absolutely loving being a part of the creative community in the Blue Mountains.
I have a strong focus on using recycled or second-hand materials and the majority of my materials are purchased second hand. I love upcycling old things and giving them new life as beautiful home decor items!
