What you'll do
Are you looking for fun and creative things to do this weekend with friends? Why not try out Kristyn Begnell's online macramé workshop and learn how to make a macramé plant hanger from scratch in the comfort of your own home!
In this virtual workshop, you will learn the step by step process of creating your very own unique plant hanger from an expert. You will learn about the various knots and ropes you can use to create an original design to house your plant friend at home or at work!
If you're looking for fun indoor activities to do at home this weekend, or you just want to indulge yourself and create something from scratch, then this macramé workshop is for you. Not only will you get the chance to learn new skills, but you'll also leave feeling creatively inspired and confident to make some new pieces at home!
Please note: This class requires at least three students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and reach out to either reschedule or fully refund your booking, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class.

- Something to hang your S hook on (clothes rack, curtain rod, door)
- Scissors
- A pot to test the size of the plant hanger.

Hi, my name is Kristyn. I am a fibre artist based in the Blue Mountains of NSW and I work with the crafts of macrame, crochet and weaving.
I started crafting after my second child was born and quickly became addicted. What started as a therapeutic hobby has now turned into a small business and I am absolutely loving being a part of the creative community in the Blue Mountains.
I have a strong focus on using recycled or second-hand materials and the majority of my materials are purchased second hand. I love upcycling old things and giving them new life as beautiful home decor items!
I have been teaching macrame workshops for the past few years and I absolutely it.
