Fun things to do at home
Finding fun indoor activities for adults and kids doesn’t have to be difficult. Our growing range of live classes online with a craft box lets you pass the time with ease and helps you discover new ideas for what to do when you’re bored. Whether you're exercising your green thumbs with a Kokedama kit or digging into some dirt with a DIY terrarium workshop, you'll love learning from your living room with our online classes. Don't let Omicron spoil all your fun! Whether you're looking for things to do during isolation or you're simply keen to get creative at home, we're here to help!
Looking for a calming hobby to pick up in 2026? Our punch needle workshops are one of our most popular live classes online – and for good reason. Punch needle embroidery does away with old and boring knitting stereotypes and offers a real splash of colour and expression to the medium of stitching. Often described as painting with thread, punch needle embroidery makes the most of your artistic streak and translates it to fabric, offering you a level of creative freedom that standard knitting techniques simply can’t. If you’ve ever wondered about fun things to do in isolation or on a rainy day, learning something new – whether that's painting for beginners or how to make soy candles – has never been more convenient with our live classes online.
What to expect at live classes online
If you’re looking for rainy day activities that exercise those green thumbs, our box delivery system can even offer the botanist inside you an opportunity to shine! Our kokedama workshops are a truly unique idea when it comes to fun things to do at home! Normally reserved for the workbench of a floristry, our new ClassBento box delivery system - along with our interactive live-stream classes can have you crafting traditional Japanese moss balls in your own home! This is one of the most popular public classes due to the hands-on and creative method that’s required for building kokedama plants, and with our live classes online, you don’t even have to move.
If you’re after rainy day activities for kids, our beginner's macrame class for teens and tweens is a great choice when looking for things to do at home with kids! With no knitting needles required, you can be sure that there won’t be any accidents. Macrame is done using a series of intricate knots to create unique and interesting designs, and a great medium to start with if you’re looking to keep creative kids busy. With so many high-quality live classes online like pottery kits and macrame kits, ClassBento is here to ensure you don’t get bored with your rainy day activities!

All of the materials and resources you would otherwise receive in the class are delivered directly to your door, with our new ClassBento Box delivery system, so you can ensure that although you're not in the workshop itself, all of the materials and tools required to complete the class will be there at your fingertips. It's simple as booking the class, entering your delivery details and receiving a link to the live stream! Not only are our live classes online some of the most enjoyable things to do at home, but they're also one of the most convenient.
