What you'll do
In this two-hour online workshop, you will learn the basic macrame skills required to make your own set of mug rugs, which you can keep or give to a loved one as a gift.
Choose from a wide range of colours to make something that matches your personal style and that you can admire every time you have a cuppa.
Your teacher, Kristyn from Consciously Crafted, will demonstrate the process and work with you to create your own macrame pieces. No prior macrame experience is required!

Hi, my name is Kristyn. I am a fibre artist based in the Blue Mountains of NSW and I work with the crafts of macrame, crochet and weaving.
I started crafting after my second child was born and quickly became addicted. What started as a therapeutic hobby has now turned into a small business and I am absolutely loving being a part of the creative community in the Blue Mountains.
I have a strong focus on using recycled or second-hand materials and the majority of my materials are purchased second hand. I love upcycling old things and giving them new life as beautiful home decor items!
I have been teaching macrame workshops for the past few years and I absolutely it.
