Using your smartphone at home, you will learn about natural lighting, composition and editing on your mobile. This one-hour packed class is a learning adventure with micro-challenges to unlock your creativity in lockdown.
During this class, you will:
- Use the best settings for your mobile
- Master composition
- Complete hands-on challenges to put theory into practice
- Learn how to control exposure, reflection and diffusion
- Photo critique
- Take close up food and still life photos
- Edit and enhance your images on your mobile
After the online class, you will be able to capture all of life's big moments in the best way possible and have a few still life snaps from class.

Knowledge Required

What to bring
- Your smartphone camera- Good internet connection (data charges may apply)
- Laptop
- Zoom App (mobile and iPad or laptop) on two devices
- Fully charged battery on devices (and charger optional)
- Loads of space to take many photos
- Snapseed (free app) for editing (open and test the app before class)
- A room with good natural light
- A table to photograph your set up
- White table cloth or neutral coloured tabletop (i.e. wood)
- White or dark paper and sticky tape (background) that is non-reflective
- Tinfoil wrapped around cardboard (reflector) on dinner plate size
- Flowers and vase or glass
