If you're interested in learning how to cook Indian food, this comprehensive class will introduce you to a deliciously wide range of tastes and textures. You’ll never eat a one-dimensional "rice and curry" again!
With expert instruction from chef Ragini, you will create six recipes that showcase a variety of ingredients including vegetables, chicken, lentils, and fish. Some basic cooking skills will help you in this class, and chef Ragini will take care of the rest with step-by-step instructions and her friendly, relaxed demeanour.
Over this two-and-a-half-hour cooking class, you will make a one-person mini banquet, complete with salad a chutney to balance the meal.
All vegetable recipes are vegan and every recipe is gluten-free except the bread. This is healthy Indiana eating at its best, making your mouth water with minimum effort.

I’m Ragini Dey and I love sharing the real coking of India I.e.the cooking of regional India. My family background includes both the north and the east and l have lived in Kolkata,Delhi and Mumbai and travelled extensively all over India Regional home style cooking is really exciting because of its diversity using a huge range of spices, lentils and vegetables Cooking techniques differ as well through the north south ,east and west This is a really healthy ,seasonal way of eating and usually simpler and quicker than it’s restaurant counterpart No 2 dishes taste the same and we donot find a ubiquitous‘curry ’ sauce as in dodgy restaurants!
Iam a political science hons, graduate turned qualified chef living in Adelaide Ihave worked in aged care and hospitality for over40 years and taught adult education classes during this time My love of sharing this unique cuisine has led me to author 4 cook books
I love dabbling in Food television, you may recognise me from the ABCand SBS Shows such as POH’s KITCHEN
There is no better reward than revealing the little known layers of Indian cooking
