Marrickville Brewery Tour

Enjoy some craft beer tastings on this Sydney walking brewery tour

3 hours Location Marrickville Experience size 1 to 11 (public dates), 8 to 20   $119 ($625 per event surcharge applies for private events) (Afterpay available)

Boost your beer knowledge and sample some delicious craft ales on our walking brewery tour in Marrickville - we think it’s a must-do in Sydney!
The only walking brewery tour in Sydney visits three Inner West breweries(but we often sub in a distillery for a brewery), where you’re given the chance to sample some of the local craft beers and go behind the scenes in each location. You’ll learn all about the breweries themselves, from how they started and the ethos of the brand, to the brewing process - and of course, the beer!
Your knowledgeable local guide will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about the history of beer, covering ingredients, a technical tour of the breweries, and a beer tasting session at each location. You’ll spend time walking around the golden triangle of Sydney’s indie craft beer, Marrickville, before finishing the day a brand-new beer expert.
On the day, you could visit the following places:
  • Batch Brewing Co.
  • Sauce Brewing Co.
  • Unexpected Guest Distillery
  • Hawke's Brewery
  • Philter Brewing
  • Poor Toms Distillery
Important tour information:
  • We meet at Batch Brewery, 44 Sydenham Rd, Marrickville (a short walk from Sydenham Station) at 3pm.
  • The tour will conclude at approximately 6 pm at Sauce Brewery.
  • Which breweries we visit on the day does change as not all places are open every day. Our focus on providing a good mix of places, people, and craft beers.
  • This tour accommodates a minimum of three guests. Your order will be confirmed once we have filled three seats on the tour.
Please note: For larger groups of 12 to 20 people or a private tour, a $625 charter fee will be charged. For any groups larger than 20, please contact us for charter fee prices.

“At Dave’s, we’re all about showing you local as we love it all; food, drinks, history, and culture. Come explore with us on tour!”
Our philosophy is simple – collaboration. We love bringing people together to taste and experience the craftsmanship of our local producers.
Whether that is on a behind the scenes brewery tour, a walk back in time through our pub culture on a pub walk, or a corporate event – everything we do is about connecting more people to local communities.
In doing so, we are supporting the passions and dreams of those who are bringing to market some of the finest products available and making visitors aware of the toil and strife that goes into producing great drinks and food.
To us, it’s more than the art and science. It’s the stories, the legends, the scars of effort and devotion to doing something different. It’s about connecting people who are passionate about what they produce with those who are equally as passionate about what they consume.
