What you'll do
Make and take home a fragrance inspired by Santal 33 at this practical introduction to perfumery class in Marrickville.
Over 1 hour, you will be introduced to an array of quality raw materials sourced from around the world, all of which feature in Santal 33--one of the top-selling fragrances in luxury niche perfumery today. Then you will reverse engineer and make your own perfume inspired by the chic Santal 33.
You will also learn about the history of perfumery, fragrance families, and the perfumers and brands behind these fragrances. From there, you will mix your own fragrance, inspired by Santal 33, with Ainslie's guidance.
(If you would like to make both Baccarat Rouge and Santal 33, be sure to book the duo session)
Corporate and private workshops are welcome. A bespoke course can be made for any specific requirements.

Ainslie Walker Scentsmith is a practising perfumer, product developer and olfactory artist and has been teaching her renowned perfume making workshops in Australia for nine years - based in Sydney, she teaches regularly from her Marrickville studio. She also teaches interstate by appointment and in locations such as The Strand Arcade, and various Boutique hotels such as The Old Clare Hotel in the Sydney CBD.
Her classes are recommended by Broadsheet, The Good Weekend and more.
Her clients include Country Road, Disney, Aje, Glasshouse, Circa Home, The Powerhouse, Two Good Co, Tamara Dean, and Lark Perfumery.
