Paint and Sip at Home: Ink and Watercolour Basics

In this online class, you will:

• Cover the basics of watercolour painting.
• Practice creative drawing techniques.
• Use your newly acquired skills to paint simple objects.
• Practice inking to get a confident quality in your ink lines.
• Add ink to your paintings.

At the end of the class, you'll have a beautiful selection of A5 watercolour paintings, along with the equipment, skills and confidence to continue exploring this relaxing medium!

Please note:

• If booked as a team building activity, your teacher can tailor your class to perfectly suit your group. Paint a house if you're estate agents, or a shoe if you're podiatrists!
• Craft boxes can take up to four days to arrive. Please allow this much time before your class if ordering with the box.
• Watercolour paints wash off almost everything, so you can use cups and plates with your paints and they will clean up very easily, even if you leave them with watercolour paint for days. Some colours may leave a slight stain on white clothing, but generally, they wash out of clothing 100%.

• 1 x A5 cold press watercolour paper pad.
• 10 brushes.
• 2x water brushes.
• 1 box of water colour paints in half pans.
• 1 portable travelling case.

• 2 x cups of water.
• A hard white surface for mixing paints (a plate works well).
• Any pencil, the softer the better, HB to 6B.
• An eraser [optional]
• Water-resistant black pen, uni-ball is fine, 0.1 - 0.7mm, but not a bic ballpoint.
• A paper towel, chux or soft cloth.
• Something to drink and nibbles.
