I love the way Carlie teaches - slowly, going through the basics, building you up to a confident watercolour artist with a piece you’re impressed with. I particularly enjoyed the insects as there was so much detail and interest to them

Carlie is then amazing and sends us a recording of the class which I’ve since used to do final touches as well as start my second insect!

I'd strongly recommend her workshop for anyone interested in water colours or as a team building exercise. The session was well organised and run with a great camera setup for demonstrating to a remote audience. Her passion and enthusiasm for the art came through clearly in the session.

I really appreciated that a video replay was made available so that we could review the lesson to better absorb the material, as well as the additional templates of the last two insects for us to have a go on our own. I was brand new to watercolour before this course. The butterfly was my first watercolour painting ever, and while I still have a long way to go, I feel that I learnt a lot through this session :)

I already had the all the materials and even though we had different brands of paint, it was still very easy to follow. My mum, who’s self described as “not creative”, had a lot of fun and I did see a fun creative side to her. We both throughly enjoyed the class and would recommend to anyone that asked.
