What you'll do
Looking for unique Sydney activities? This perfume making class will introduce those wanting to learn classic perfumery, to the historical Eau de Cologne's family, just in time for spring/summer.
The fragrances are suitable for all genders and nonbinary students as you'll be able to personalise your creations. You can choose to use all-natural or add some molecules to your creations - information will be provided on options in the class.
The class is practical and you'll be able to smell through a wide selection of materials from the working perfumer's organ of more than 300!
Make a bottle to package and take home. You'll be given the opportunity to add a personal twist to your formula to make it completely unique to you.
A platter and a glass of wine or non-alcohol drink are included in the session.

Your teacher
Ainslie Walker Scentsmith is a practising perfumer, product developer and olfactory artist and has been teaching her renowned perfume making workshops in Australia for nine years - based in Sydney, she teaches regularly from her Marrickville studio. She also teaches interstate by appointment and in locations such as The Strand Arcade, and various Boutique hotels such as The Old Clare Hotel in the Sydney CBD.
Her classes are recommended by Broadsheet, The Good Weekend and more.
Her clients include Country Road, Disney, Aje, Glasshouse, Circa Home, The Powerhouse, Two Good Co, Tamara Dean, and Lark Perfumery.
